Join us for a Gentle Yoga class that blends wellness and spiritual growth. This 1-hour class is open to all levels, whether you're a seasoned yogi or just beginning your practice. In this unique experience, we'll gently flow through traditional yoga poses and breathwork, while incorporating Christian prayers, Scripture readings, and reflections on faith. You'll leave feeling grounded and with a deeper sense of peace. Bring a mat and water. Any questions can be directed to the instructor, Theresa Steltzer (Bio), BS, MBA, RYT-500. We look forward to seeing you on your mat!

If you or someone you know would be a great fit, please fill out the survey to recommend a speaker.

Pastor's Corner:

THE NEW COVENANT

What is this “New Covenant” that the prophets spoke about? Was it any different from the “Old Covenant”? Why does Jesus use that phrase when he gives us the practice of Holy Communion, also known as “The Lord’s Supper”: “This cup is the New Covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you…” (Luke 22:20 and 1 Corinthians 11:25)?

February Mission of the Month:

DISCOVERY SERVICE PROJECTS

Discovery Service Projects (DSP) is composed of volunteers from many faiths who work along with local people in developing countries and in the US. We strive to build relationships with respected local leaders who know the specific needs of their community. We’ve built churches, clinics, community buildings, schools, and homes. Life has been enriched for individuals, families, and communities everywhere our volunteers have worked, but make no mistake, the lives of the volunteers are enriched much, much more by the people we meet and the cultures we share.

DUMC Community Dinner - Thank you!

What a fabulous evening! We served approximately 60 people at our January Italian Night Community Meal. Over 50 leftover trays were packed by our guests and 23 Caring for Friends meals were made with the leftover food. We put the additional pasta in the freezer to make additional meals out of in the future.

Thank you to everyone who donated all of the wonderful food we enjoyed this evening. A special thank you to Jim Dodaro and his crew (Craig Wurst, Jeff Stevens, John Vavala, and George) for cooking. The entire building smelled wonderful. Thanks also to all who set up, served, and cleaned up.

A special shout out to Mike for getting the tables and warmers all set and safely secured for us. Also, thanks for the special prayers and diligent watch to keep the water from dripping onto the stove from the vents and all the snow we had.

Next month's meal will be on Wednesday, February 25 and will be combined with the Lenten Soup Supper. Look for the signup sheet in the lobby and the SignUpGenius in Connections.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Karen Condit.

Youth Winter Retreat 2026

This past weekend, 4 adults and 7 youth attended Winter Blast at Camp Orchard Hill. Although we came home Saturday night to avoid the storm, we had an awesome 24hrs of FUN. We had the opportunity to participate in a number of activities, including ice hockey, bingo, and tubing. We also had a chance to reflect on what things we may need to surrender to the Lord to become more like him and experience him more fully. We had an awesome weekend and are so thankful that these trips are possible for our young people!
