Ring Day hands Ring Ceremony
One of Connelly's most treasured traditions, the Ring Ceremony, is a very special event for all junior year students. In a beautiful ceremony, the senior class members present the juniors with their class rings. This year's Ring Ceremony is on Wednesday, November 8, at 9:25 a.m.

A rehearsal will take place during lunch on Tuesday, November 7, in the auditorium. Juniors and seniors must bring a sack lunch as they will be eating in the auditorium. Purchasing lunch on campus is OK.

Please note this is a formal free dress day for grades 11 & 12. It is a formal uniform dress day for grades 9 & 10.

parent-teacher conference Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences
Parent-Student-Teacher conferences are scheduled for Thursday, November 9, beginning at 1:45 p.m. No appointment is necessary. You and your daughter are invited to meet with her teachers to review or discuss any concerns or clarification regarding the most recent progress reports posted on November 1, 2017 on the Parent/Student Portal. Please note that this is an early dismissal day, with classes ending at 12:55 p.m.

All are welcome. We do strongly urge you to make this conference a priority if your daughter is earning a "D" or an "F" in any course. With early intervention, there is time for improvement.

Progress reports continue to be posted on on the Parent/Student Portal every three weeks, as noted on the school calendar. If you have not yet activated your account, please do so, since this is our primary means for communicating to you the academic progress of your daughter on an ongoing basis. Report cards will continue to be mailed home at the semester.

Do not hesitate to contact Mrs. Tran Ryan (Grades 10, 11, 12), or Mrs. Jordan (grade 9) with any academic concerns or to set up conferences. They are always happy to meet with you. We strongly urge you to first contact your daughter's teachers to follow up on any academic issue. Email addresses are listed on the Cornelia Connelly School website, under "Discover Us", then "Faculty & Staff."

Tri-School Theatre Fall Production
Iliad logo
Tri-School Theatre's Fall production "The Iliad, The Odyssey, and all of Greek Mythology in 99 Minutes or Less" is November 9-12

With the sands running through the Hour Glass in front of everyone's eyes, the cast speeds through all of Greek Mythology. It's funny, updated and made easy to understand. The Gods walk the Red Carpet, the Creation of Mankind is a botched subcontractors job, And love stories are a dating show! And don't forget the two greatest stories ever told, The Iliad and The Odyssey. All the silly decisions, the absurd destinies, and the goofy characters are presented lightning-bolt fast with hysterical results as the clock is stopped with only seconds to spare.

For the best seats, get your tickets now for this amazing production at www.trischool.org and don't forget to put your favorite cast member's last name in the Promo Code. Or call the box office at (714) 774-7575 ext. 1155.
Veterans Day Prayer Service
Connelly Veterans Day
Do you know any veterans from any of the World Wars, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, 911, Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Syria and Israel, etc. Or how about any veterans who served in non-combative posts? If so please invite them to our annual Veteran's Day Prayer Service on Friday, November 10. Of course we will also honor those who have fallen and given the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

This prayer service will take place first thing in the morning at 8:15 a.m. during our adjusted schedule that day and will last for 45 minutes. If you would like to invite a veteran please do so and then send Mrs. Townsend their full name, title/rank, what armed forces served and the year(s) served. If you, yourself, are a veteran please join us on that day so we may honor you at this service. If you do attend, please let Mrs. Townsend know of your attendance and supply her with the same information just requested.

Thank you in advance in joining us for this wonderful prayer service where we can honor all of our veterans. Please see Mrs. Townsend or a God Squad member near you if you have any questions.
