Business and community leaders continue to raise concerns over the consequences of BC's new "speculation tax". The Kelowna Chamber is right in the thick of the discussion.

The news sent shock waves across communities in BC and the rest of Canada, particularly Alberta. We asked the government to step back from implementation, and to explain how it will work; who will pay? And, how the tax will make housing more attainable in Kelowna.

What is TAP?  (Trade Accelerator Program)
The Trade Accelerator Program helps companies export faster, and has seen graduates increase their export sales by an average of 70% within one year .
 
If  you are considering expanding your market this is a great place to start, and the Kelowna Chamber would like to nominate you to attend this program. As a Kelowna Chamber of Commerce member you are eligible to receive a 100% bursary (value $2,500). Application deadline is May 10.

Windshield Chip Repair - Donations to the YMCA.
From March 12th to May 14th Boyd Autobody & Glass will be making donations to the YMCA's Strong Kids Campaign.  ICBC is covering the cost of up to 3 chip repairs (using Collision & Comprehensive Insurance) so that Boyd can donate $20 per windshield chip repair on behalf of their customers.
