Before we can begin our timbering project, several tasks need to be completed to prepare Camp Tuckahoe for this project. A huge thank you goes out to our Order of the Arrow Lodge, who completed many of these tasks during one of their service days. But yet, a few tasks remain to be completed. To wrap-up these remaining tasks, Camp Tuckahoe will be holding a service day open to Troops, Crews, Ships, and individuals (Scouts BSA age or older)...it is a perfect way to gain a few service hours for school or rank advancement.
So that unit leaders and district and council volunteers can provide the best roundtable experience possible, it has been decided that the November and December Roundtables will continue to be held virtually at the council-level. There will be no district-level roundtable for these months.
The Camping Department has started looking for camp staff applicants for the 2021 summer camp season for Hidden Valley Scout Reservation and Camp Tuckahoe! Positions include Business Manager (age 18+), Lifeguards (age 15+), Trading Post Staff (age 15+), Area Directors (age 18+), Health Officer (age 21+), Kitchen Cooks (age 18+), Area Staff (age 15+), Counselors-In-Training (14), and much more.
