Eagle County moved to the yellow level of the state’s COVID-19 dial effective at 6 a.m. on Friday, February 19. This change means there will be less restrictive regulations for indoor dining and events. For real estate, this means that “Field Services may operate, and real estate open houses must follow the Indoor Event requirements, including capacity limits.” One thing to remember is the virus is still here, and following safety protocols is still critical. By being vigilant, we will help stop the spread.
I want to share information about a program offered by Holy Cross Energy. The PuRE program allows you to use 100% clean energy sources such as wind, solar, and hydro. For a small upcharge on your bill, you can offset your usage with 100% renewable energy. I signed up the VBR office and my home for this program. Attached here is a pdf, and I encourage you to share this with others. The increase was only $5 a month, which is a coffee from Starbucks. The VBR is working on completing the Actively Green Walking Mountains certification this year. This was one of the items to accomplish in getting this certification.
Have a great week,
Erica Kirk
