Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ -

As our nation commemorates the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops will consecrate our country to the Most Sacred Hear of Jesus today, June 11th. To join the celebration we will pray the Prayer of Consecration on Friday, June 12th at the 7am Mass, the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

The devotion to the Sacred Heart reminds us of the boundless love and mercy of Christ poured out for the salvation of the world. In consecrating our nation, the bishops seek to renew our reliance upon God, entrust our country to the loving care of Christ, and call the faithful to deeper conversion, reparation, charity, and missionary discipleship.

Our observance invites us to give thanks to God for the many peoples and cultures that have contributed to the life of the United States.

We will also join in a prayer service celebrating the 250th Anniversary on July 1st.

Friday, June 12th is the last day of our school's academic year. May the summer be a time of refreshment and renewal. Congratulations to the Class of 2026!

I received a warm thank you message from Father Joseph Donovan, MM, the Maryknoll Missionary who celebrated mass and invited our participation in supporting their missionary work. They received 30 new subscriptions for Maryknoll Magazine and $4,140 in the special collection. Thank you!

Finally, I'll be leading a Jubilee Year of St. Francis of Assisi to the California Missions in Carmel and San Juan Bautista, Friday, July 17th through Sunday, July 19th. We'll travel by bus/van and spend two nights at Mission San Juan Bautista Retreat House and visit Carmel Mission and the Monterey Bay.

Peace,

Father Gil

Congratulations Class of 2026!

Our Caritas and Schola are taking their annual summer break beginning this weekend. We are grateful for their ministry.

Monica noted that "This season was even more rewarding than the last, filled with countless moments of gratitude, growth, and joy. Above all, I am deeply thankful for the opportunity to work alongside such dedicated staff members and truly amazing singers. Their commitment, generosity, and musicianship continue to inspire me every day."

"To The Schola Cantorum and Caritas Choir: thank you for your trust, your artistry, your hard work, and your friendship. It is an honor to make music with you."
