Summer Wrap-Up
On September 20th, all Water Team hands were on deck to participate in a “Benthic Macroinvertebrate” study of the sites we monitor for water quality. “Benthic” means “bottom” and “Macroinvertebrates” are small aquatic organisms without backbones but visible to the naked eye.

Passport to Nature: Confessions of a Crazed Photographer, Ethan Meleg
As an outdoor photographer, Ethan Meleg has crawled through mud, kayaked deep into swamps, endured -30 degree temperatures and hiked many kilometers at night (often carrying a heavy camera pack) to capture spectacular photos of nature. In this presentation, Ethan shares his insight into the inspiration, passion and knowledge that drives great nature photography. Illustrated by his favourite photos and stories, this light-hearted and humorous presentation is sure to entertain and inspire!
