Conservative Businessman Joe Strada Launches Campaign for Congressional District 11 with $5 million
Self-made businessman Joe Strada today announced his campaign for Florida’s 11th Congressional District. Strada, founder of Strada Services, the largest privately held, family-owned air conditioning, electric, security and plumbing company in the United States, enters the race with a $5 million personal contribution to his campaign.
“President Trump spends each and every day putting the American people first and I’ll stand with him in Congress to fight for our families and our economy,” said Strada. “Washington is full of career politicians looking for their next government job, but the people of district 11 deserve someone who understands the challenges they face and the real-world experience to provide solutions we need.”
As a father and a grandfather, Joe is actively working to ensure that access to opportunity for the next generation is preserved for anyone willing to roll up their sleeves and work for it. Frustrated by skilled-worker shortages, Joe and his sons developed a training program and have graduated hundreds of skilled tradesmen.
“I’ve successfully built a business from the ground up because I’ve personally invested in the desperately-needed next generation of skilled tradesmen,” said Strada. “The needs of our economy are rapidly changing, and the American people can’t afford to wait for congress to act.”
