Greetings!

Happy June!

It's time for shorts, T-shirts, summer BBQ's, vacations, and....elections AGAIN!

We can thank the Democrats for the August Primary due to their unconstitutional Redistricting referendum. Early voting starts on June 18th, and runs to August 1st.

From the Chair

Rhonda Torres

It's hard to believe that half of the year is almost gone, and we still have so much yet to do!

Lake Frederick is growing faster than ever and we'd love to let our new neighbors know about our group. I have no doubt there are other conservative neighbors out there that would like to join us.

Last year, we sent personalized letters to new residents without much success. So, we decided to use a format that has worked for us in the past. COLF passes out door hangers each year with voter information with great success. So, we made door hangers with COLF's information that we want to distribute to new residents. We are currently working on compiling the distribution lists.

If you would be willing to volunteer an hour of your time this month, please let me know. Once we have all the data organized, we will work on distributing the door hangers to our new neighbors.

Our leadership team would like to try and get you access to the U.S. Senate candidates. A question we have for you is: would you participate in a zoom call with the candidates if we arranged it? I'd like to get a rough number of potential participants before reaching out to any of the candidates. You can respond to this email if you would be willing to join a zoom call.

Quote of the month

3RD ANNUAL SUMMER PICNIC

We are seeking a volunteer set-up crew for the summer picnic. I estimate it will take about an hour (depending on the number of volunteers)

Synopsis of Vetoed Legislation

I used ChatGPT to pull together a synopsis of the legislation that Gov. Spanberger has vetoed so far, with details on each bill.

It's a little long, but I hope you take the time to read through it.

Keep an eye on our website. I will be updating with pertinent information.

Next month, we'll review what she HAS agreed to sign!

If you have more information that can be shared, please send it to me!
