From the Chair
Rhonda Torres
This year has been a roller coaster, and I don't see the end of this ride coming for many months. I want to take a moment to thank everyone for all the work put into this election. No deed was too small! I appreciate your willingness to help more than you can ever imagine. COLF came together to work toward a common goal and I am very proud of the group we have become.
We were active in talking to friends, family, and neighbors about the importance of having truly fair representation for ALL Virginians, putting out yard signs, mailing postcards, helping line Warrior Dr. with VOTE NO signs, poll watching, and poll greeting.
Above all, we voted NO. True, we were outvoted, but it was by a very narrow margin. The map showing the number of votes per county and city clearly show that Virginia is NOT a solid blue state. We are a very purple state. Our votes do matter and do make an impact. Take heart, our voting block is a threat, which keeps the Democrats on there toes.
We have to pray that the VA Supreme Court holds with the letter of our VA Constitution rather than their politically appointed seats.
Now, we regroup, catch our breath, and know that we are not done fighting for our County, State, and Country!
Quote of the month

Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.” ~Henry Ford
