What a great spring this has been so far! Frederick County's water tables have been low the last few years, and now they are filling up nicely. Thank goodness for the rain!


Would you like to get a little more involved with our group's leadership team? It is a fun and meaningful way to serve our conservative community. We are looking for a Recording Secretary, as Maria Salter had to step away from the position. We also have been discussing the addition of a Communication Committee. I pray that my conviction of the criticality of the Virginia elections is being conveyed in my communications to you. The 2025 November election is more important to Virginia than the 2024 Presidential election.


We were blessed that Governor Youngkin was at the helm this past 4 years. He vetoed hundreds of liberal bills, and amended many more, that were the antithesis of conservative values (click on "vetoed" to see the full list). If Abigail Spanberger (D) gets elected in November, there will be nothing to stop the liberal agenda in our state. Ms. Spanberger attempts to present herself as a moderate-she's definitely not! We need to spread the word to anyone who thinks otherwise.


If we do not win in November, we will be just another blue state refusing to comply with the Trump's Administration directives in turning this county around after the last 4 years under a far-left agenda.

We had a great turn out for our May meeting. Our speakers were John Massoud, 6th Congressional District Chairman, Tonya Sibert, Frederick County's Commissioner of the Revenue, and Dana Brunn, President of the Mountain Patriots, and our own, Al Torres.

2 Virginians helped cover up how incapacitated the president was. This wasn’t Biden, though.


The last 4 years, we as Republicans knew that Biden wasn't competent. We knew the press and Cabinet had to know. But, maybe they didn't! VERY interesting read!

Monthly Spotlight

Requesting Basket Donations


The Basket Raffle at the March Meeting was a great success as a fundraising event for COLF activities.


We will be having futures raffles as a way to fundraise. The next raffle for baskets will be held at our 2nd Annual Picnic on July 19th.


The baskets will have themes. So far, ideas we have come up with a Wine Basket/Date Night Basket, a BBQ Basket, a Puzzle Basket, Coffee Basket, Margarita Basket, and a Gardner/Plant Basket. We are requesting assistance in the form of donations to fill these baskets with items. Or perhaps you can come up with another idea for a basket.

Call for Volunteers - Election 2025


Last year COLF distributed sample ballots in the form of door hangers to Conservative Lake Frederick Households. We are planning on distributing door hangers again in September (prior to early voting). If you like to walk around your neighborhood, we encourage you to volunteer for this fun event. This is a great way to explore your neighborhood. If you are interested, please contact

Mountain Patriots


The Mountain Patriots are an educational ministry group in the western end of Frederick County. They provide a tremendous service to many areas of the county.
