Thanks to many compassionate hearts, this year over 400 lives were transformed through direct surgical care and thousands will be transformed through on-going training and support.
Overseas - Our volunteer medical team heroes traveled to Afghanistan, Argentina, Cuba, Mexico, Nepal, and Vietnam to perform desperately needed reconstructive surgeries for children with congenital deformities, acute burns and traumatic injuries and train hundreds of host-country doctors and nurses to carry on self-sufficiently.

Locally - The Reshaping Lives CA program continues to make dreams come true for uninsured patients in Southern California, pr oviding life-changing reconstructive surgical care to uninsured and underinsured individuals, primarily post-mastectomy breast cancer patients, free of charge.

Our hearts are full as we reflect on 2018 and the incredible success stories. On behalf of our Board of Directors, Advisory Council and volunteers, THANK YOU for making it possible!

2019 marks Plasticos Foundation's 20th Anniversary and over 10,000 lives transformed! Our goal is to treat more patients than ever before, both locally and globally and continue our work as the first nonprofit organization in North America to treat patients with acute burns, both saving and improving the quality of life.

As you determine where to make a philanthropic investment this holiday season, please consider multiplying the impact of your gift by donating to Plasticos Foundation's Transform a Life Challenge . A generous family will match your donation at 50 cents on the dollar, enabling us to change lives in 2019.
