I was recently contacted by a very respectable conservative political leader regarding a problem that I have been grappling with for many years. It is something that I address thoroughly in my seminar on Marxism and Americanism. If this problem could be solved quickly the future of America would be just as quickly changed from uncertainty and possible destruction to restoration and unprecedented greatness.
The problem is the observable fact that a large percentage (40%?) of conservative religious people avoid political involvement even to the point that they do not register to vote. Many are even proud of their disengagement with “politics”. They do not even agree to register voters or encourage voting in their places of worship. If the founders of America had subscribed to such a view there never would have been an America, Land of the Free. To our great good fortune those founders discovered the key to American greatness by studying the Bible. To their actual surprise they discovered the “Hebrew Republic” based on divine revelation to Moses and established by Joshua. For 400 years Israel existed as a nation with no earthly king. Only the people under God were needed for national success by the people, of the people and for the people. This is recorded in a sketchy way in the book of Judges. There are other Rabbinic histories of the period that help to explain how it all worked. (see the excellent book, The Hebrew Republic by Eric Nelson). The Hebrew Republic is the model on which the United States was intentionally founded. This was a stunning departure from the almost universal regard throughout Christian western civilization of the divine right of kings and their kingdoms as the best model for government.
In contrast to the true history above most Americans believe that the founders were guided by secular principles of the Enlightenment and an abandonment of the Bible. This misconception which has been actively promoted for over 150 years has led to two devastating mistakes: 1. Religious people think that they can live safely and freely under the rule of “ungodly” people. 2. They do not recognize any need for their own involvement in government.
As to the situation today: Many evangelicals – the group I am most familiar with - are even proud of the fact that they do not get involved in “politics”. They view any such involvement as cooperation with “ungodly” people and a threat to their sanctification. They feel that any such involvement will compromise their witness to the eternal offers of the Gospel. They also will claim that such involvement is a waste of time anyway in light of the soon Return of the Lord Jesus Christ and the end of history as we have known it. On top of these serious mistakes some will even claim that it is illegal to speak out on non-partisan issues or to aid in voter registration efforts because of their tax exempt status. A change in these attitudes could bring as many as 50 million voters into play- enough to completely change the country.
To rescue the USA out of the descent into socialist hell that faces us it is necessary for a major change to take place in the faith communities. Seminaries and Bible schools need to train faith leaders to train their congregations in the non-partisan principles of Americanism as expressed in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Just as faith leaders are needed to train good parents and honest participants in the economy it is also necessary to train good citizens of the United States. There is a duel citizenship that American believers possess: as Citizens of Heaven AND Citizens of the USA. Both come with enormous benefits and substantial responsibilities. Both are important and both deserve engagement.

RFK Jr.: Former CDC Director Told Me ‘You Got Everything Right’ Martin Walsh , September 25, 2024, Conservative Brief
Robert Redfield, a former director of the CDC, has formally endorsed former President Donald Trump and praised his administration’s and policy’s approach to health care. In an editorial for Newsweek, Redfield gave this endorsement and stated that he was confident in Trump’s capacity to “restore American health” and address problems with the country’s healthcare system.
The most surprising turn of events, though, was when Redfield told Robert F. Kennedy Jr. that he thought Kennedy “got everything right” regarding his critiques of the CDC during the COVID-19 outbreak. Kennedy expressed disbelief at the support. Kennedy is well-known for his outspoken views on vaccine policies and his book, which criticizes both Redfield and Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Kennedy JR.: “I’ll tell you something interesting that happened today, and I actually was going to mention this to Ran, because it was an extraordinary event to me, but Robert Redfield, who I really go after in my Fauci book, kind of a hammer and tongs, wrote an editorial in ‘Newsweek’ magazine today saying that he was endorsing President Trump because President Trump was going to restore American health, and that President Trump, he said, a lot of people might be surprised I say this, but — to say — hear me say this, but he has chosen exactly the only person who can do this, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.. This was breathtaking to me —“

CHILD TRAFFICKING IN AMERICA Finding The Feds' Missing Children By Thomas Hicks, Aug. 2024, Muckraker.com
On August 19th, 2024, the Department of Homeland Security announced that they had lost track of over 300,000 children. But what exactly does this mean? Since 2021, an average of 400 unaccompanied children have been smuggled into the United States every day. These children, who cross into the United States without parents, are subsequently detained, processed by the federal government’s unaccompanied children program and eventually released into the country.
Per the DHS' August 19th announcement, 291,000 of the 300,000 unaccounted-for children were released into the United States without a scheduled court date, while another 32,000, who were given court dates, never showed up for their scheduled court appearance. In June of 2024, an insider from the department of Health and Human Services provided Muckraker with a list detailing the names of over 8,000 alien children, and their last known addresses. So, we began a massive operation to find the missing children ourselves.
Over the course of our investigation, we discovered the dangerous places where children have been delivered, confronted a CIA contractor who moves these children, heard shocking stories from children who the federal government has lost track of, and exposed a child trafficking network in Florida. Children and minors who enter the United States illegally and without parents are subsequently detained and placed in holding camps while the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR for short) works to find the child a permanent home through their Unaccompanied Children or UC program.

Video shows state trooper detaining reporter outside Border Patrol chief’s house

A video about human trafficking seen already by more than 70,000 viewers on the O’Keefe Media Group (OMG) YouTube channel raises questions about the role of the Vermont State Police preventing investigative journalist James O’Keefe from approaching the home of the Swanton Sector Border Patrol chief, after he had already approached two other BP supervisors’ homes.
OMG Video showing VSP trooper Daniel Bohyyak detaining investigative journalist James O’Keefe. Was VSP merely responding to a homeowner request, or was there more coordinated VSP involvement and interaction with the Border Patrol? Does Vermont’s status as a Sanctuary State have any bearing on VSP stopping press from asking BP officials at their homes? VDC has reached out to the state police (see below) and will publish responses as soon as received.
The video depicts a Vermont State Trooper first asking investigative journalist James O’Keefe to leave, then detaining him, then giving him a notice of trespass. The encounter came after O’Keefe approached two other Border Patrol supervisors at their homes, in pursuit of a story about human trafficking.
The video shows that on Saturday, September 21, Vermont State Trooper Daniel Bohnyak first told O’Keefe to leave, then – after O’Keefe refused to leave – detained him, noting that his vehicle was in the road. O’Keefe and Bohnyak are seen standing outside of (O’Keefe says) Border Patrol, Swanton Sector Chief Agent Robert Garcia’s home.

Rob vowed, “to pay as close attention to this as humanly possible. I want to understand it and I want to make other people understand what’s happening with these energy policies.”
The Global Warming Solutions Act was passed in 2020 “over Governor Scott’s veto without knowing how it was going to be paid for, how it was going to work, or if it was even feasible.” The Act requires Vermont to reduce greenhouse gas pollution to 26% below 2005 levels by 2025. Emissions would need to be 40% below 1990 levels by 2030 and 80% below by 2050. Source “If we don’t meet these mandates, says the Global Warming Solutions Act, anybody has standing to sue the state of Vermont, which is us, the taxpayers.” The Conservation Law Foundation has already announced that they are going to sue the state now.
“Not only do we have to pay to defend a suit─ from anybody, we are also going to have to pay their fees when we lose─ and we are going to lose these suits. Because the goals set forth with the Global Warming Solutions Act are impossible for us to meet as a state.” What is not in the Global Warming Solutions Act, Rob says, is a way to actually do it. About 40% of Vermont’s greenhouse gases come from heating our homes. This is called the Thermal Sector, which includes heating water and cooking.
“They devised this system called the Clean Heat Standard which basically is a carbon tax on a ton of greenhouse gas emissions.” The way they’ve structured it is if someone wants to sell you propane, for instance, “they have to buy a carbon credit from somebody somewhere─ probably a default delivery agent who has yet to be determined. But it’s going to be Efficiency Vermont. The credit functions essentially as an excise tax. We have a 2-cent excise tax on fuel already. It raises about five million dollars a year. There is no difference structurally by paying somebody a carbon credit to sell your product or paying a tax to sell your product. Where it differs from paying a tax is that it is so convoluted in how it works because the seller has to figure out how many tons of carbon is emitted from the product sold, which depends upon whether it is used for heating, cooking or for a generator.” They still haven’t determined who owns these carbon credits.
“It is a complicated mechanism of implementing a carbon tax on home heating fuel.” Rob confirmed. The estimates just came out from a group called NV5, paid for through the Department of Public Service. It is going to cost somewhere between $1.79 to $4 a gallon extra on home heating oil or kerosene and somewhere between 95 cents to $2.12 a gallon extra on propane. The anticipated cost is $3,000 extra every year to heat Vermont homes. The legislature is going to vote on this in January.

This Pastor Avoided Punishment Sep 27, 2024, Liberty Counsel
When Pastor Jeremy Higgens of Calvary Community Church, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, spoke against the “Drag Queen Story Hour” sexualizing children and then endorsed two Christian school board candidates in his personal capacity, political opponents tried to revoke his church’s property tax exemption.
Dustin Brooks serves on a local diversity and equity committee and is committee chairman of the campaign to elect Katie Lowe Lancaster to the Lynn-Mar School Board. When Pastor Higgens personally endorsed a Christian candidate who ran against Brooks’ candidate, Brooks SUED the pastor! But Liberty Counsel is on the case.
Pastor Higgens is well known in the Cedar Rapids area for responding to “Drag Queen Story Hour” by holding his own story hour to read the Christian book Jesus and my Gender. As school board elections began ramping up, Pastor Higgens used his own personal social media accounts to advocate for and endorse Christian candidates who would protect the innocence of local school children.
When Pastor Higgens did not endorse Dustin Brooks’ candidate, Brooks filed a complaint with the Iowa Department of Revenue (IDR) demanding the state revoke the property tax-exempt status of the church, the church parsonage, and the church’s Christian daycare operation. The retaliatory and baseless petition sought to revoke two property tax exemptions for which Calvary Chapel Iowa is the owner of record — the church parsonage, where the pastor, his wife, and three children reside, and the church’s Christian daycare and school also located on the church campus.
The petitioners argued these properties were not being used “solely” for religious purposes because the pastor’s family are “non-ecclesiastical personnel” residing in the home and because the daycare takes in revenue. The complaint even tried to make the ridiculous argument that because Pastor Higgens is “President” of the church, “he should not be considered ecclesiastical personnel.”

The Clean Heat Standard (aka Unaffordable Heat Act) looks like it’s about to have its Joe Biden Debate moment.
For three years critics such as your humble author here have been repeatedly pointing out that this Rube Goldberg Carbon Tax (Copyright Dick McCormack) is unworkably complicated, and that any attempt to implement it would be wildly, unbelievably, absurdly expensive. Pshaw! sneered its sponsors. Misinformation! cried the propagandists in the media.
But now, just days away from when the Public Utilities Commission is scheduled to pull the sheet off their draft plan for how this thing will work for all the world to finally see, Efficiency Vermont (who as the presumptive Default Delivery Agent in this scheme has presumably had a peek) submits eight-pages of comments and recommendations. We’ll get to the specifics in a moment, but here’s my translation of the gist: The Clean Heat Measure/Carbon Credit market will never work, and you need to scrap this whole thing and start over.

Federal Judge Unseals Indictment Against New York Mayor Eric Adams Alleging He Took Bribes
Adams has disputed the charges, saying, ‘I know I’m innocent.’

A judge on Thursday unsealed a federal indictment against New York Mayor Eric Adams accusing him of taking bribes and illegal campaign contributions from foreign sources. Adams’s residence was searched earlier in the day.
Adams faces five criminal charges, including conspiracy to commit wire fraud, prosecutors said in the indictment. Adams is accused of accepting benefits from foreign businesspeople and a Turkish government official who officials said were trying to influence him.
The mayor, who became the first New York City mayor to be criminally charged while in office, issued a video statement Wednesday denying the prosecutors’ claims. Adams signaled that he won’t resign, describing the
