The long-term closure of the eastbound (EB) SR-91 loop on-ramp from southbound (SB) Lakeview Avenue has been postponed. The date of the closure is to be determined.
Freeway and Ramp Closures
Nighttime lane closures on EB and westbound (WB) SR-91 will occur regularly throughout construction. At least one lane will be open to traffic at all times, unless otherwise specified.

91 Express Lanes Closures
The following nighttime closure of the 91 Express Lanes will occur between SR-55/Tustin Avenue and the Orange County/Riverside County line to facilitate striping, k-rail placement and overhead sign removal. Drivers will be directed to use the regular lanes and exit or re-enter the 91 Express Lanes at the county line.

WB SR-91 Express Lanes are anticipated to close as early as 9 p.m., Friday May 30 to 5 a.m., Saturday May 31
Sound Wall Activities
Crews are constructing a new sound wall along WB SR-91. This work will require the installation of cast-in-drilled-hole (CIDH) piles to form the foundation. Work will occur from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weekdays, beginning as early as Tuesday, May 27 and continuing through July.
This work may be loud. The schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or unforeseen operational issues.
Lakeview Avenue Bridge Update
In preparation to construct the new Lakeview Avenue bridge, crews have begun what is known as a "settlement" period along the WB SR-91 off-ramp. This process helps compact the soil to ensure long-term stability for the new bridge. The large mound of dirt will remain in place for approximately one month while the earth settles.
Memorial Day
This Memorial Day, the SR-91 team honors those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Thank you for your service! In observance of the holiday, there will be no closures scheduled Friday, May 23 through Monday, May 26. Construction will resume Tuesday, May 27.

About the Project
Overview
The SR-91 (SR-57 to SR-55) Improvement Project will improve 6.6 miles of State Route 91 (SR-91) through Anaheim, Fullerton, Orange, Placentia and Yorba Linda. The project will improve mobility throughout the corridor, reduce weaving and merging between ramps, and improve on- and off-ramps. The project will reconstruct the La Palma Avenue, Glassell Street, Tustin Avenue and Lakeview Avenue bridges and interchanges with standard lanes, shoulders and sidewalks in each direction.
