Crews continue construction on a new sound wall along westbound (WB) SR-91. This work will require the installation of cast-in-drilled-hole (CIDH) piles to form the foundation. CIDH work began on Monday, July 7 and is anticipated to continue as early as 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., on weekdays through early August.
Intermittent nighttime work for this activity will continue through early August.

Street Closures
Lakeview Avenue
Crews have begun drilling holes and installing shore beams along northbound (NB) Lakeview. These beams will support the foundation of the bridge. Daytime drilling and installation are anticipated to continue through early August. Lakeview will remain open to motorists during daytime hours.
Nightly, Starting as early as 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday, August 4 through Friday, August 8 (into Saturday morning), NB Lakeview will be closed for shore beam installation. Southbound (SB) Lakeview will remain open to motorists.
Crews installing the first shore beam that will provide stabilization for the new Lakeview Avenue bridge.
Pedestrian access on the eastern side of Lakeview is closed.

Freeway and Ramp Closures

Eastbound SR-91 Loop On-Ramp Closed for Approximately Two Years
The two-year closure of the EB SR-91 loop on-ramp from SB Lakeview Avenue began on Monday, July 7.
This closure is required for crews to demolish and reconstruct a retaining wall on EB SR-91 beneath the existing Lakeview bridge and construct an abutment for the new bridge.
About the Project
Overview
The SR-91 (SR-57 to SR-55) Improvement Project will improve 6.6 miles of State Route 91 (SR-91) through Anaheim, Fullerton, Orange, Placentia and Yorba Linda. The project will improve mobility throughout the corridor, reduce weaving and merging between ramps, and improve on- and off-ramps. The project will reconstruct the La Palma Avenue, Glassell Street, Tustin Avenue and Lakeview Avenue bridges and interchanges with standard lanes, shoulders and sidewalks in each direction.
