Segment 1: Lakeview to SR-55
Lakeview Avenue Bridge Construction
Progress at the Lakeview Avenue Bridge
In the coming weeks, drivers will notice crews building columns at the new Lakeview Avenue bridge. This is exciting progress, as it marks the "above ground" portion of bridge construction after the conclusion of the first phase of pile driving for the foundation. Keep an eye out for even more progress as we continue to construct this major structure!
Crews will be pouring concrete for the middle portion of the bridge, which is anticipated to occur during nighttime hours, tonight, Oct. 17.

Crews are currently building the first half of the new bridge alongside the existing one;
Once it's ready, traffic will be shifted onto the new half so the old bridge can be removed;
Lastly, the second half of the new bridge will be constructed and connected, creating a new structure for drivers.
