BRIDGE DEMOLITIONS

Santa Ana River Bridge

Crews will demolish a portion of the Santa Ana River bridge over the Santa Ana River in the upcoming weeks.

This work will require the two outside lanes on the right-hand side.

Northbound (NB) SR-57 will be closed between the NB SR-57 on-ramp to Orangewood Ave. and the SR-57 off-ramp to Katella Ave.

The NB SR-57 closure is anticipated as early as 11 p.m., Friday, May 1, to 5 a.m. Friday, May 8.

RAMP & LANE CLOSURES

*On game nights for the Los Angeles Angels and Anaheim Ducks, closures will start at 11 p.m.

NB Orangewood Avenue Loop On-Ramp

Intermittent closures, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Thursday night, April 30 to Saturday morning, May 2

NB Orangewood Avenue Straight On-Ramp

Intermittent closures, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday night, April 27 to Wednesday morning, April 29 and again on Thursday night, April 30 to Saturday morning, May 2

NB Katella Avenue Off-Ramp

Intermittent closures, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Thursday night, April 30 to Saturday morning, May 2

NB SR-57 lane closures between Chapman Avenue and Katella Avenue

Intermittent lane closures, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday night, April 27 to Wednesday morning, April 29

*At least one lane will be open to traffic at all times, unless otherwise specified.

EB/WB Orangewood Avenue at SR-57

Road closures, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., starting Monday night, April 27 to Tuesday morning, April 28

PILE INSTALLATION ACTIVITIES

Orangewood Avenue

Crews will continue installing piles at Orangewood Avenue adjacent to the northbound SR-57.

Ongoing from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for approximately one week.

Crews may mobilize as early as 6 a.m.

Santa Ana River

Crews will continue installing piles at the Santa Ana River adjacent to the northbound SR-57.

Ongoing from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and may continue for several weeks.

Access at the Santa Ana River Trail will be maintained at all times. Flaggers will assist cyclists and pedestrians, as needed.

The SR-57 Community Outreach Team will provide updates in future alerts.

Crews may mobilize as early as 6 a.m.

Speed Limit/Safety Reminder: Please look out for posted speed limit and traffic control signs. Slow down within construction work zones, for the safety of motorists and crews.
