Project Activities

Please be advised that this work may be loud. The schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or unforeseen operational issues.

When events occur at either Angel Stadium or Honda Center, closures will start at 11 p.m.

FALSEWORK INSTALLATION ACTIVITIES

COMING SOON! Orangewood Avenue

Crews are expected to begin installing falsework for the new portion of the NB SR-57 bridge over Orangewood Ave.

The Community Outreach Team will provide additional information in future alerts.

BRIDGE DEMOLITIONS

Santa Ana River Bridge

Crews will continue demolishing a portion of the bridge over the Santa Ana River.

Demolition activity will occur as early as 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday night, June 1, to Tuesday morning,

June 2.

SHORING ACTIVITIES

Stadium Bridge

Crews will begin installing shoring plates to excavate a portion of the NB SR-57 bridge over the railroad near S. Douglass Road.

Shoring installation will occur as early as 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday night, June 1, to Saturday morning, June 6.

SURFACE STREET CLOSURES

S. Douglass Road between the Railroad Bridge and the Stadium Bridge

Road closures, from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., Monday night, June 1 to Saturday morning, June 6

PILE INSTALLATION ACTIVITIES

Santa Ana River

Crews will continue installing piles at the Santa Ana River adjacent to the northbound SR-57.

Ongoing from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and may continue for several weeks.

Access to the Santa Ana River Trail will be maintained at all times. Flaggers will assist cyclists and pedestrians, as needed.

Crews may mobilize as early as 6 a.m.

The SR-57 Community Outreach Team will provide updates in future alerts.

Speed Limit/Safety Reminder: Please look out for posted speed limit and traffic control signs. Slow down within construction work zones, for the safety of motorists and crews.
