Project Activities

Please be advised that this work may be loud. The schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or unforeseen operational issues.

On game nights for the Los Angeles Angels and Anaheim Ducks, closures will start at 11 p.m.

BRIDGE DEMOLITIONS

Stadium Bridge

Crews will begin demolishing a portion of the NB SR-57 bridge over the railroad near S. Douglass Road over the next week.

Demolition activity will occur as early as 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., Tuesday night, May 12, to Sunday morning,

May 17.

Orangewood Avenue Bridge

Crews will begin demolishing a portion of the bridge over Orangewood in the coming weeks.

Demolition activity will occur as early as 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday night, May 18, to Saturday morning, May 22.

Santa Ana River Bridge

Crews will continue demolishing a portion of the bridge over the Santa Ana River over the next couple of days.

Demolition activity will continue from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday night, May 11, to Wednesday morning, May 12.

RAMP & LANE CLOSURES

NB Orangewood Avenue Loop On-Ramp

Intermittent closures, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday night, May 11 to Monday morning, May 18

NB Orangewood Avenue Straight On-Ramp

Intermittent closures, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday night, May 11 to Monday morning, May 18

NB Katella Avenue Off-Ramp

Intermittent closures, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Friday night, May 15 to Monday morning, May 18

NB SR-57 lane closures between Chapman Avenue and Katella Avenue

Intermittent lane closures, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday night, May 11 to Monday morning, May 18

*At least one lane will be open to traffic at all times, unless otherwise specified.

SURFACE STREET CLOSURES

EB/WB Orangewood Avenue at NB SR-57

Road closures, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday night, May 11 to Friday morning, May 15

S. Douglass Road between Katella Avenue and the Stadium Bridge

Road closures, from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., Friday night, May 15 to Sunday morning, May 17

PILE INSTALLATION ACTIVITIES

Santa Ana River

Crews will continue installing piles at the Santa Ana River adjacent to the northbound SR-57.

Ongoing from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and may continue for several weeks.

Access at the Santa Ana River Trail will be maintained at all times. Flaggers will assist cyclists and pedestrians, as needed.

Crews may mobilize as early as 6 a.m.

The SR-57 Community Outreach Team will provide updates in future alerts.

Speed Limit/Safety Reminder: Please look out for posted speed limit and traffic control signs. Slow down within construction work zones, for the safety of motorists and crews.
