Construction activities continue at the Culver/I-5 bridge, including pile driving to widen structures as a part of project improvements. Intermittent nighttime full closures and daytime lane closures on eastbound (EB) and westbound (WB) Culver Drive at I-5 may occur during the pile driving activity, to support I-5 widening work.
24/7 Long-Term Closure: Crews will install concrete barriers and close inside lanes on Culver at the I-5 bridge in both directions for a 24/7 long-term closure to conduct CIDH activities, to be scheduled this fall. Check back for the 24/7 long-term closure date.
Once implemented, the long-term closure will remain in place until mid-2027. At least one lane in each direction will remain open at all times, unless otherwise noted.
Please note: To account for nighttime noise impacts, pile driving and CIDH activities are scheduled during daytime hours. Pile driving activities may be loud at times.
