Roberts Soccer Stadium

Roberts Soccer Stadium which features a natural grass surface, athletic support spaces, ticket office, concession stand and press box completed construction to support the fall 2022 soccer season. The field is built overtop of a Geo-Exchange bore field site and a regional storm water management system which represents triple land use as well as responsible and sustainable design and construction.

Yeh College and New College West

The opening of Yeh College and New College West support the increasing of the undergraduate student body by welcoming the Class of 2026, the largest undergraduate class in the history of the University.

Also worth noting, toilet flushing in Yeh and New College West is facilitated by re-using water from our cogeneration plant. Periodically the cooling towers at Princeton’s cogeneration plant need to be flushed out to remove mineral deposits. Water that used to be drained from the system is now being stored, filtered, and redirected to nearby Yeh and New College West for toilet flushing. This creative action reduces Princeton’s use of municipal potable water and adds resilience to our local potable water systems.

Other Completed Projects

Facilities OCP Interiors:

Stanhope Interior Renovation and Lighting Upgrades

Stanhope's renovation supports the Office of the Dean of the Faculty and their academic mission of working with academic departments and individuals, addressing a wide range of confidential issues and matters. It was important to provide the department with a space that allowed collaboration in supporting these efforts. Although the existing room sizes remained the same, the rooms were finished including paint, carpet, new energy efficient lighting, and furniture that aligned with the campus standards.

Introducing 'New Projects'

Hobson College

This new residential college will support an increasingly diverse cross-section of undergraduates at Princeton, creating an inclusive, closely-knit, collaborative community of living, learning, socializing, and dining. The design for Hobson College considers how these spheres enhance one another and how the college will house spaces of creativity and serendipitous collision. As part of the residential college construction program, this new complex will be built on the site of the former First College dorms.

Princeton University Art Museum

Progress on the structural components of the new Art Museum continues on site with on-going concrete pours in addition to the installation of large steel and timber beams. The pavilions which shape the new Art Museum building will roughly double space for the exhibition, conservation, study, and interpretation of the Museum’s collections; for mounting exhibitions; and for a new range of social spaces and visitor amenities.

Visit galleries Art@Bainbridge and Art on Hulfish to see new Princeton Art Museum collections.

Sustainability Updates

We focus on our sustainability efforts at the heart of our Campus Plan and our Sustainability Action Plan with new PRINCETON BUILDS installations.

PRINCETON BUILDS CLIMATE ACTION

The most recent installation of the PRINCETON BUILDS campaign is located in Frist Campus Center from Level 1 to Level A. The graphic installation depicts Princeton University's strategy for achieving Net Zero carbon emissions by 2046 or sooner. Also represented are several student testimonials regarding what sustainability means as a part of their practiced lifelong behaviors. Stay tuned for new informative additions to the PRINCETON BUILDS campaign throughout the year.
