Construction Safety Week

May 5-9

2025 FOCUS:

FALL RESCUE PLANNING

Fall Rescue Planning is a critical yet often overlooked task in the construction industry. For the past 14 years, falls from elevation have remained the number one most-cited OSHA violation, underscoring the need for vigilance and preparation. Since 2016, fall protection training has consistently appeared on the OSHA top 10.

This Safety Week, we’re reinforcing the importance of planning ahead for fall incidents — because being prepared isn’t just smart, it saves lives.

OSHA Standard 1926.502(d)(20):

"The employer shall provide for prompt rescue of employees in the event of a fall or shall assure that employees are able to rescue themselves."

Let’s continue building a culture of safety — together.

THE MARR CENTER for SAFETY TRAINING is pleased to provide the following resources to help you and your workforce access high-quality education and training materials.
