GBCA’s Project Safety Awards recognize members who deliver projects with exceptional safety performance, including zero OSHA recordable incidents.

This year also includes an optional Safety Champion of the Year award, recognizing individuals who demonstrate outstanding leadership and commitment to safety.

On May 14, local safety professionals gathered for a Fall Protection Equipment Training Session. Hosted in partnership with PBTSC, MACSC, and PALM BUILT-RITE, the session focused on identifying and removing defective fall protection equipment from construction sites.

GBCA and CLC members participated in the American Heart Association’s Hard Hats for the Heart Home Run Derby at Citizens Bank Park, promoting cardiovascular health in the construction industry.
