THIS WEEK'S CONSTRUCTION

Be Aware, Keep Moving

Dec. 18 - Dec. 24, expect overnight freeway lane reductions and closures, ramp closures and street closures.

NORTHBOUND I-5

Nightly lane reductions/closures from:

NB closures as early as 8 p.m. through Thursday

SOUTHBOUND I-5

Nightly lane reductions/closures from:

SB closures as early as 8 p.m. through Thursday

SELECT RAMP CLOSURES AT

Ramp closures at Avery Parkway, Alicia Parkway and El Toro Road as early as

11 p.m. through Thursday.

Plan for additional travel time through the area.

Detour signs will be in place to assist motorists.

The schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or unforeseen operational issues.

I-5 ALICIA PARKWAY SOUTHBOUND ON-RAMP:

TENTATIVE: On Tuesday, Jan. 2, the I-5 Alicia Parkway southbound on-ramp is expected to close for roadway construction through Saturday, Jan. 6. A large electronic message board will be activated at the ramp to confirm this 4-day closure.

I-5 EL TORO ROAD SOUTHBOUND HOOK ON-RAMP

NINE-DAY CLOSURE:

On Monday, Jan. 8, the I-5 El Toro Road southbound hook on-ramp (via Ave De La Carlota) will be closed for roadway reconstruction starting Jan. 8. The ramp will be closed for nine days and will reopen Weds. morning, Jan. 17.

I-5 EL TORO ROAD SOUTHBOUND OFF-RAMP:

TENTATIVE: The I-5 El Toro Road southbound off-ramp is tentatively scheduled to close the weekend of Friday, Jan. 19 beginning at 10 p.m. The ramp will be closed over the weekend and will reopen Monday, January 22 at 5 a.m.
