REMINDER- EL TORO ROAD CLOSURES

FOR GIRDER PLACEMENTS

Crews will be placing bridge girders requiring nightly lane closures at El Toro Rd. between Rockfield Blvd. and Ave. De La Carlota. Please follow detour signage.


WHEN:

  • Nightly, Wednesday, Dec. 28 and Thursday, Dec. 29, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Additional closures may be required the following week.


WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Westbound and eastbound lane reductions on El Toro Rd. between Rockfield Blvd. and Ave. De La Carlota
  • Closures on northbound and southbound I-5 ramps at El Toro Rd.
  • Northbound I-5 off-ramp to El Toro Rd. will be closed Thursday, Dec. 29, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. only
  • Detour signage will be in place to assist motorists


The schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or unforeseen operational issues.

NORTHBOUND I-5 OFF-RAMP CLOSURES

Northbound I-5 off-ramps at Avery Parkway, Crown Valley Parkway and Alicia Parkway will be closed nightly for paving and signage work.


WHEN:

  • Nightly, Tuesday, Dec. 27 through Thursday, Dec. 29, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.



WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Northbound I-5 off-ramp closures
  • Detour signage will be in place to assist motorists

ELECTRICAL WORK UNDER WAY AT

LOS ALISOS BOULEVARD BRIDGE

Southern California Edison (SCE) crews will continue the electrical work on Los Alisos Blvd the week of Dec. 26.


WHEN:

  • Daily, Tuesday, Dec. 27 through Friday, Dec. 29, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.



WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Westbound and eastbound lane closures and/or reductions
  • Detour signage will be in place to assist motorists
  • SCE crews performing work

ABOUT THE PROJECT
The project, which spans the cities of Mission Viejo, Lake Forest, Laguna Hills and Laguna Niguel, is expected to be completed in 2025.
