NIGHTTIME FULL CLOSURE OF

LA PAZ ROAD AT I-5

A full closure of La Paz Rd. between Muirlands Blvd. and Cabot Rd. is scheduled nightly, Monday, Feb. 13 through Thursday, Feb. 16, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. The nightly closures are necessary to remove the falsework placed for the bridge construction over La Paz Rd.


WHEN:

  • Nightly full closure of La Paz Rd. at I-5, Monday, Feb. 13 through Thursday, Feb. 16, 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.


WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Detour signage will be in place to assist motorists


The schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or unforeseen operational issues.

NIGHTTIME LANE REDUCTIONS AND

RAMP CLOSURES - EL TORO ROAD AT I-5

Crews will be doing electrical and bridge work in preparation for the upcoming bridge deck pour at El Toro Rd. and the I-5. The work requires nightly lane reductions, Monday, Feb. 13 through Thursday, Feb. 16. The northbound and southbound ramps will also be closed.


WHEN:

  • Nightly, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday, Feb. 13 to Thursday, Feb. 16


WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Lane reductions on El Toro Rd. between Rockfield Blvd. and Ave. De La Carlota
  • Northbound and southbound I-5 on-and off-ramps at El Toro Rd. closed nightly
  • Detour signage will be in place to assist motorists


The schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or unforeseen operational issues.

There are no scheduled closures, Friday, Feb. 17 through Monday, Feb. 20 due to the President's Day holiday. Please drive safely and enjoy the long weekend.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
The project, which spans the cities of Mission Viejo, Lake Forest, Laguna Hills and Laguna Niguel, is expected to be completed in 2025.
