WEEKEND RAMP CLOSURES AT I-5 EL TORO ROAD INTERCHANGE

The northbound I-5 El Toro Road off-ramp and loop on-ramp will close this weekend for paving. Ramp closures are anticipated to begin as early as 11 p.m. Friday, March 22, to 5 a.m. Monday, March 25.

Additionally, the two right lanes on northbound I-5 between Alicia Parkway and El Toro Road will be closed for paving. Lane closures are anticipated to begin as early as 8 p.m. Friday, March 22, to 6 a.m. Monday, March 25.

Plan for additional travel time through the area.

Detour signs will be in place to assist motorists.

The schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or unforeseen operational issues.

Plan Ahead for Upcoming Extended and Weekend Closures

Plan ahead for extended ramp and street closures at the I-5 La Paz Road and I-5 Avery Parkway interchanges in late March and early April. 

More information on these ramp closures, including available detours, will be shared in next week’s construction alert.
