NIGHTLY CLOSURES

EASTBOUND EL TORO ROAD

• Eastbound El Toro Road will be closed nightly, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday, May 9 and Tuesday, May 10 between Rockfield Boulevard and Paseo de Valencia for K-rail installation. Please watch for detour signage. 

WHEN:

• 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday, May 9
• 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Tuesday, May 11

WHAT TO EXPECT:

• Eastbound closures at El Toro Road between Rockfield Boulevard and Paseo de Valencia
• Detour signage will be in place to assist motorists.

SPECIAL ALERT: WEEKEND CLOSURE ALICIA PARKWAY

Alicia Parkway northbound off-ramp and northbound loop on-ramp will be closed this weekend from 11 p.m. Friday, May 13, to 5 a.m. Monday, May 16 for roadway work. Please follow detour signage for alternate routes.

WHEN:

• 11 p.m. Friday, May 13, through 5 a.m. Monday, May 16.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

• Northbound Alicia Parkway off-ramp and loop on-ramp closures
• Nightly lane reductions on northbound I-5 between Alicia Parkway and El Toro Road
• Weekend lane reductions on eastbound Alicia Park
• Electronic message boards
• Detour signage will be in place to assist motorists.

UPCOMING I-5 FULL FREEWAY

NIGHTLY CLOSURES MAY 16, 17

As part of the I-5 widening project, Southern California Edison is relocating utility lines over I-5. This work requires closing I-5 in both directions from Alicia Pkwy. to El Toro Rd. from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, May 16, and Tuesday, May 17. Lane reductions will begin as early as 8 p.m. each night. 

Motorist should expect delays and use alternate routes if possible. Northbound motorists will be detoured off the freeway as early as Crown Valley Parkway. Southbound motorists will be detoured off the freeway at El Toro Rd.

WHEN:

• 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday, May 16
• 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Tuesday, May 17

WHAT TO EXPECT:

• Full closure of northbound and southbound I-5 from Alicia Parkway to El Toro Road from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Safe, simple and direct detours
• Northbound I-5 motorists will be detoured off the freeway as early as Crown Valley Parkway
• Southbound I-5 motorists will be detoured off the freeway at El Toro Road
• Electronic message boards and detour signage will be in place to assist motorists.
