CONTINUING RAMP CLOSURE

Extended Closure of the I-5 Northbound On-ramp from El Toro Road

WHAT:

Crews continue to reconstruct the I-5 northbound loop on-ramp from El Toro Road, requiring an extended closure of the ramp.

Plan for additional travel time through the area.

WHEN:

I-5 NB El Toro Road Loop On-ramp Closed

11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29 - 5 a.m., Monday, Oct. 9

Safe and direct detours will be in place.

DETOUR FOR RAMP CLOSURE

PILE DRIVING THIS WEEK

Pile driving to occur near I-5 northbound straight on-ramp from Crown Valley Parkway

WHAT:

Crews are nearing completion on sound walls along the I-5 northbound near Crown Valley Parkway and the Kaleidoscope shopping center. The final round of pile driving to place the sound walls will begin this week. This work may occur at all hours for three weeks.

Prepare for noise and vibration in the area.

SR-73 to Crown Valley Parkway starting as early as 8 p.m.
Oso Parkway to El Toro Road as early as 8 p.m.

SOUTHBOUND I-5

Nightly lane reductions/closures from:

El Toro Road to La Paz Road Parkway starting as early as 8 p.m.
Oso Parkway to SR-73 starting as early as 8 p.m.

WHAT TO EXPECT: I-5 RAMP CLOSURES

RAMP CLOSURES

Nightly ramp closures at:

Avery Parkway, Crown Valley Parkway, Oso Parkway, Alicia Parkway and El Toro Road starting as early as 10 p.m.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The project, which spans the cities of Mission Viejo, Lake Forest, Laguna Hills and Laguna Niguel, is expected to be completed in 2025.
