Crews to Pave Northbound Crown Valley Parkway Ramps


Crown Valley Pkwy. northbound I-5 off-ramp and northbound loop on-ramp will have a full closure from 11 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, to 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 31. There will also be a lane reduction on eastbound Crown Valley Pkwy. Crews will be paving the northbound off-ramp and loop on-ramp at Crown Valley Pkwy.


In addition, Oso Parkway will have both southbound and northbound on- and off-ramp closures from 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28., to 5 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29. Motorists will be detoured to Avery Parkway or La Paz Road.

 

WHEN and WHERE:

Crown Valley Pkwy. Northbound Off-Ramp - Full Weekend Closure

  • 11 p.m., Friday, Oct. 28, to 5 a.m., Monday, Oct. 31


Crown Valley Pkwy. Northbound Loop On-Ramp - Full Weekend Closure

  • 11 p.m., Friday, Oct. 28, to 5 a.m., Monday, Oct. 31

 

WHAT TO EXPECT:

 

  • Northbound I-5 Crown Valley Pkwy. weekend off-ramp closure
  • Northbound I-5 Crown Valley Pkwy. weekend loop on-ramp closure
  • Weekend eastbound lane reductions on Crown Valley Pkwy.
  • Northbound I-5 Oso Pkwy. off-and on-ramp closures (nighttime, Friday, Oct. 28)
  • Signage will be in place to assist motorists with detours
  • Plan for additional travel time through the area

AVERY PARKWAY LANE REDUCTIONS

Crews are Preparing for Stage 3 Bridge Demolition and Construction


Nightly lane reductions on eastbound and westbound Avery Pkwy. will occur from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 26 through Friday, Oct. 28 for bridge work. 

 

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Nightly lane reductions of Avery Pkwy. from Marguerite Pkwy. to Camino Capistrano
  • Signs will be in place to assist motorists with detours

ABOUT THE PROJECT
The project, which spans the cities of Mission Viejo, Lake Forest, Laguna Hills and Laguna Niguel, is expected to be completed in 2025.
