Splashing Out in the Community

Eversource team members proudly supported the 30th Annual Mystic River Herring Run and Paddle held recently in Somerville.

The event, hosted every May by the Mystic River Watershed Association, celebrates the return of the river herring. This year, it included a 5k run/walk, 3 paddle events, a bike ride along the Mystic River, and a mobility class. Our team had fun getting out on the water and also engaging with attendees!

The event raises awareness about the incredible herring migration in our river and the importance of clean water and parks to recreate in.
