On March 26, we officially broke ground on Phase 2 of our Campus Improvement Journey. This phase includes the addition of a brand new building that will house classrooms and a cafeteria. As site work begins, some changes may impact you and your family. Starting Monday, April 17:

• Arrival/Dismissal – The arrival/dismissal area for grades 5-8 will move. The new location is outside the gate on the lower level of the 7th and 8th building, just before the curve. The dismissal line for 5th and 6th will still be located on the left-hand side of the road. The line for 7th and 8th pick up will still use the right-hand side of the road.

• Dismissal Time – Grade 5-8 students not riding with a sibling from the lower grades will begin dismissal at 3:10 pm. Dismissal in the front of the school will continue at the normal 3:20 pm timeslot.

• A Note on Construction Site Safety – We take the safety of our students and staff very seriously. New campus wide safety measures will be implemented in the coming days and months (more on that in a separate email). Specific to the construction site, no students or school staff should ever be inside the designated construction area. Two layers of fencing will be placed between the construction area and the general campus. Windscreens will be in place to help prevent visibility from the construction site to the general campus and vice versa. No construction workers should ever be outside of the fenced area, unless escorted by school administration. All construction personnel will receive a background check, and NO contact between workers and students will be tolerated under any circumstance.

This is the beginning of a 12 month construction timeline for Phase 2 and Phase 3 of our Campus Improvement Journey. As the project evolves, changes to routines may become necessary.
