Southern California's Center of Excellence for Veterinary Care Expands in 2026

April 2025

The UC Veterinary Medical Center, San Diego has operated as a satellite of the UC Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital for more than 20 years. This center of excellence will be expanding into a state-of-the-art facility (Janice K. Hobbs UC Davis Veterinary Medical Center Southern California) in 2026.

$2 Million Reasons to Give

A transformational opportunity is here! Thanks to a generous anonymous donor, every gift to the Janice K. Hobbs UC Davis Veterinary Medical Center Southern California building fund will be matched dollar for dollar up to $2 million. That means your support goes twice as far, doubling the impact on this groundbreaking facility. As construction begins, donor funding is essential to ensure the center has the most state-of-the-art spaces and equipment to welcome and treat beloved companion animals from across Southern California and beyond.
