The Role of Donor Support for Critical Equipment Needs

Donor support can bring life-saving equipment to our new center. With donor support, the new UC Davis Hobbs Veterinary Medical Center will have the essential tools our team needs to provide world-class care. From anesthesia machines to surgical tables and treatment lights, every gift—no matter the size—helps us prepare to serve animals and families across Southern California and beyond. Our highest priority is securing an MRI and CT scanner, critical for diagnosing cancer, neurological disorders, and orthopedic injuries. These tools allow for faster, more accurate diagnoses and more effective treatments. Other items that will support animals from day one of the center's opening are:

  • Oxygen cages
  • ICU Ventilator
  • Anesthesia Machines
  • US Machine
  • Endoscopy and Minimally Invasive Surgery Laparoscopic Tower
  • C-Arm (for surgeries)
