Hi all! I'm Colleen, a sales rep for Travis Industries in the Pacific Northwest. I've been officially in the industry for almost three years now, but unofficially for my entire life. As a second generation industry member I love being able to see where the industry has come from and how it has changed over the years. One of the most important things we can do is to make sure we continue that path of change and see what we can do to even further improve our business and our industry. 

Being a member of the younger generation I have been around technology and social media my entire life for personal use but throughout college courses I was exposed to a number of ways to use technology to improve your business and that trend continued as I entered the industry. Some of our members have excelled in their use of technology and I think that knowledge is important for everyone in our industry to have. I want to help take away the confusion and intimidation behind technology and social media and hopefully this presentation will help you feel more comfortable using it for yourself!

Being Prepared for the NSPS May 15 th  Effective Date
The May 15, 2020 NSPS Step 2 deadline to sell your Step 1 inventory is nearly upon us and everyone needs to be ready.

We had expected to hear from the EPA on Friday, May 8 th , but that is not happening. Sell-through is still being considered by EPA, but is encountering many unforeseen hurdles.

The new FAQ sent out by the Governor now specifically states that fireplaces that cannot be put into place without violating the six foot rule CANNOT be put into place until Phase 2.
