A Quick Progress Update

Hello Friends,

We’ve written a shorter newsletter today to share the most recent construction updates and a new job posting: Cat Lounge Team Member.

You may have also noticed that we’ve officially changed our website and Instagram to say we’re opening March 2024. This isn’t due to any specific delay, but many small ones as we work to complete unique design elements of the cat lounge that have been hard to timeline due to their first-of-its-kind nature. We can’t wait to share them with you in the coming weeks!

A behind-the-scenes look at our nearly completed cat lounge back room. This room will not be accessible to the public and includes a dishwasher and washer/dryer to help our cat lounge team keep everything impeccably clean. This back area will also house the cats’ litter boxes and a cozy area for cats to relax if they need a break from cat lounge visitors.

We have been so impressed with our paint team’s incredibly detailed, methodical work using Farrow & Ball’s Whirlybird and Snow White paint colors. We can’t wait to see how everything looks after the final coat of paint!

Next Steps at 80 Charles Street:

Over the next week, we expect to see:

• installation of the micro-bookstore’s built-in bookcases and checkout counter
• finishing the cafe’s countertops in preparation for the delivery of our coffee equipment and pastry case
• more painting and further development of our one-of-a-kind cat lounge designs

Cat Lounge Team Member

This is a full-time, hourly position that will require working weekends. Please read the entire job description and confirm you meet all requirements before submitting an application. We look forward to hearing from you!
