Construction Update: March 8, 2018

Work will begin on the O Avenue Paving for Progress project starting Monday, March 12, 2018.

The full project stretches from 16th Street to Ellis Boulevard NW.

This is the first phase of a multi-year project, and includes concrete road reconstruction, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water main, and bike lanes and sidewalk improvements.

Work beginning next week will include water main, storm sewer pipes and intakes, and sanitary sewer improvements. Once warmer weather begins, the contractor will be able to work on paving and other operations.

2020: 16th Street NW to 23rd Street NW
2021: 23rd Street NW to Edgewood Rd NW
