The Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association ("GNYADA") and the New York State Automobile Dealers Association ("NYSADA") continue to have discussions with representatives of the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs ("DCA") concerning the subpoenas issued to dealers seeking information on the sales of used vehicles with open recall notices.
GNYADA informed the LaBonte Law Group today that DCA agreed to extend the subpoena deadline to September 16, 2015. The LaBonte Law Group will notify you as soon as there is an outcome from the settlement discussions between the associations and DCA on the recall investigation.
