Happy New Year to you and your loved ones!
A personal challenge, started in 2012, was taking all the words that meant something to me in the previous year, putting them down on a piece of paper, then categorizing those words between career and personal desires.
That year, my career key words were GROWTH, PROFESSIONALIZE & CREATE (sharpen my teaching acumen). My only personal key word was HOME (as in find a place where I can plant my roots in a community).
If I did not achieve the things I wanted that year, the words I chose became long term goals, and I would choose words for the following year that got me aligned with those long term objectives I had set.
14 years and about 300 words later, not only have I found a great home at YTC, we are continually creating, growing and finding ways to better service you, our tennis community.
As we embark on this 2026 adventure, we have set up some words to get you rolling. We want you to have a mindful approach for where your tennis is going, and we must make sure our systems are alignment. If not, lets set up times to meet and figure the best way to progress.
In this month's newsletter, we highlight:
- Continuing to collect coats to donate to our friends at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Westchester & Putnam. Please look for the box at the front desk to drop off new/gently used coats for donation
-
Our Learn Tennis Now program, the best adult tennis beginner program in the NY Metro area that has guided over 500 players who never held a racquet since 2023!
- Junior & Adult Session II renewals
Wishing you and all your loved ones a great start to the new year!
We are continually thankful for the opportunity to be Your Tennis Center!
