Nearly one in four older adults has a mental health condition such as a mood disorder not associated with normal aging. Amendment #578 increases access to mental health services for older adults who are isolated at home or living in difficult situations. The amendment supports Elder Mental Health Outreach Teams, which provide integrated, community-based services.
