Philippians 4:19 (KJV)
19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Do WE really BELIEVE THIS??????????????????
Just like, do WE REALLY BELIEVE:
Romans 8:28 (KJV)
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Jesus spoke this AMAZING Words:
Matthew 6:25-34 (KJV)
25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Sadly, I think that most of US-you AND me-do not!!!!!!!!!!?????????????
WE worry about tomorrow, although our pantries are full and there is ample money in the bank TODAY to pay our bills!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beloved, God never promised to take care of tomorrow's cares:
Deuteronomy 33:25 (KJV)
25 Thy shoes shall be iron and brass; and as thy days, so shall thy strength be.
Just as when the children of Israel were trans versing the long (40) years in the wilderness-their shoes and clothing NEVER ran out and the DAILY Manna was only edible for “ONE day at a time sweet Jesus-That's all I'm asking from you!!!”
In Exodus, Chapter 16, we find the PROVISION of God-GOOD only for ONE day:
Exodus 16:15-21 (KJV)
15 And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat.
16 This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded, Gather of it every man according to his eating, an omer for every man, according to the number of your persons; take ye every man for them which are in his tents.
17 And the children of Israel did so, and gathered, some more, some less.
18 And when they did mete it with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according to his eating.
19 And Moses said, Let no man leave of it till the morning.
20 Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and stank: and Moses was wroth with them.
21 And they gathered it every morning, every man according to his eating: and when the sun waxed hot, it melted.
I could easily go on and on, and cite countless Bible references to further demonstrate my point, but did not Jesus sum it all up in THE LORD'S PRAYER:
Matthew 6:9-13 (KJV)
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
“GIVE US THIS DAY (not tomorrow's or next week or next year!!!) OR DAILY BREAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
In these troubling times and foreboding economic predictions, we MUST believe God's WORD!!!
1 Timothy 6:6-8 (KJV)
6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
ARE YOU ABLE TO BE “CONTENT” TODAY WITH WHAT YOU HAVE????????
God Bless You and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
