Call the Midwife

You can earn 8 contact hours

in our Video Club discussions.

Here's how:

Watch the series. Join the weekly discussions.

Season 14 of Call the Midwife premieres Sunday, March 30, at 8 pm on PBS.

The series is based on the memoirs of an actual nurse midwife. Each episode chronicles the lives and work of nurse midwives in an impoverished district of London. The first seasons were set in the 1950s.

This new season begins in 1970. It includes discussion-worthy issues that exist today: pregnancy, child birth, illness, poverty, social issues, medicine, relationships, and more. What has changed in nursing and healthcare from that time until now, and why? What have we learned, and what are the outcomes?
