|
HEO/CLT Professional Development Fund
|
September 1, 2024 is the deadline for applying to next cycle of the HEO/CLT Professional Development Fund. To apply, you must be in one of these series titles, for at least six months: Higher Education Officer, College Laboratory Technician, CLIP Instructor, CUNY Start Instructor, Non-Teaching Adjunct, EOC Lecturer.
Funding can be used for the following:

- Conferences, workshops and trainings that require travel outside of the NY metro area (limit of possible 5 days for allowable expenses, relative to the event dates)
- Local or online conferences, workshops, trainings, and certificate programs
- A semester of schooling at an accredited college or university (CUNY or non-CUNY), which could include tuition, fees, and books listed on the relevant syllabi for the semester
- Research projects and field studies (not required by applicant’s job or department)
- Upcoming membership dues for a professional organization

AI and Information Technology
|

|
Certified in Public Health (CPH) credential
|
|
|
There are several ways to access LinkedIn Learning courses for free.
|
Via the New York Public Library (NYPL):
|
- You will need an NYPL library card. If you do not have one, you can apply for a library card online.
- Once you have a library card number and pin, access the program (at no cost) by clicking here.
|
- Limited access is available through UHR PDL by completing this request form. Please note PDL has a small number of licenses and access is limited to 3 weeks.
|
|
|
As a CUNY employee you are eligible for a Tuition Waiver. Once you satisfy the service requirements specified by your position (see tuition waiver page for details), you are eligible to waive the cost of tuition at any CUNY school, up to a maximum of $5250.00 tax-free, per year.

|
CUNY Professional Development & Learning
|
CUNY offers a variety of virtual and in-person courses at CUNY Central offices. Information on specific sessions, including registration procedures, can be found on the CUNY Professional Development & Learning website. The cost of attending a session ranges from $75 to $275 per person. Speak to your supervisor and Human Resources as to whether financial support is available through your department, CUNY SPH administration, the HEO-CLT Professional Development Fund or other means.
