Mark your calendars because annual conference registration opens in just three weeks!

As a reminder, here are some important details that may help you plan for the 2021 conference:

  • Registration will close on October 13. With the interest we have already seen, please plan ahead and register as soon as you can.

  • The full conference registration fee for the 2021 FRA Annual Conference is $395 for members ($495 for non-members).

  • Attendees may choose the option to purchase a single-day registration (Wednesday or Thursday) which is $325 for members ($375 for non-members).

  • FRA will also offer the CRA Board Training Class on Wednesday, October 27 at 8 a.m. for members and non-members.

  • Two off-site tours will be offered with a separate fee for each.

CRA Deputy Director - City of West Palm Beach

The City of West Palm Beach CRA is seeking a deputy director to perform complex community redevelopment activities as well as implement and manage various community programs and projects.

This position will report to the CRA executive director and will work with city officials including the mayor, city commissioners and city administration.

Affordable Housing Program Manager - Winter Haven Economic Development Council

The Winter Haven Economic Development Council (WHEDC) is seeking an individual with a passion for affordable housing to join its staff. This is a new position, and the selected candidate will have the opportunity to shape and refine the role and responsibilities of the position in accordance with the WHEDC Strategic Plan, the City of Winter Haven’s Housing Action Plan and the evolving needs of the community.

Winter Garden’s newest building, Plant Street Exchange, is nearly complete and bringing additional retail shops and restaurants to the historic downtown area.

The three-story, mixed-use project pays respect to the area’s small-town charm while providing 2,500 to 14,000 square feet per floor. 

The project broke ground in January 2020 and is expected to be completed by the end of summer 2021.
