There’s been a controversy brewing at Camp Sancta Maria, and we need help from you—our Camp family—to settle the dispute. It started a few summers ago as a small stirring, a bit of friendly rivalry. But it didn’t end there. We eventually decided to "agree to disagree" with a temporary peace treaty, but the issue has not been officially resolved.
Although we’ve been able to avoid a formal conflict resolution team, it’s time to settle things once and for all so we can enter 2021 with a clean slate.
And so we ask you, our Camp family….
WHICH IS THE BEST PLACE TO BE WHILE AT CSM?
BEACH OR CORRAL?
Yes, chants of “Beach is better than corral!” and “Corral is better than beach!” still ring in the ears of our campers and staff. Remnants of signs declaring why each program is better and worthy of the title of “Best Place to be While at CSM” are still unearthed from time to time.
We think the best way to resolve this hotly debated topic is with your help!
And so today, on Giving Tuesday, we look to you—our CSM camp families, supporters and alumni—to help us resolve the ongoing conflict.
How can you help? We’ll tally votes based on donations made for the beach and the corral. Our target is to raise money for each program based on the goals listed below and declare which one is “BEST” based on the financial support we receive in the next 24 hours.
