Area Caucus Elections for
Diocesan Council Representatives
Dear Delegates:

Thank you for your patience as the infrastructure to hold electronic balloting for Area representatives was developed.

This process will unfold in two parts. Today, I am opening nominations for the position. More information about Diocesan Council and those nominations already received appears below.

Here's all you have to know for the nominations process:
YES, you are welcome to nominate yourself
YES, you are welcome to nominate someone else, but please make sure to ask them first for permission, and they agree to serve. This is a two year commitment.

If you would like to nominate a clergy person in your area to stand for election, please email me with the name and congregation of the person being nominated. Nominations will close at noon on Tuesday, November 5th.

Voting will be via secret ballot and the system will only allow you to vote in your area. Voting will begin on Wednesday, November 6th and conclude at noon on Tuesday, November 12th. Election results will be posted on the Convention webpage (address below).

This system is new to all of us! If there are hitches or glitches, please let me know as soon as you can so I can figure out what went sideways and how to make things better.

Thank you again for your kind patience and understanding.

Peacefully,
Barb
