We thank God for our host school. Steve Buuck, CEO, shared with us the history of the school. We celebrate that God has done abundantly more at Faith as it is the largest Lutheran High School in the United States and the largest-single campus protestant school in the United States. Everyone prepared! Everyone Saved!

President Mike Gibson, reelected

The first election held on Wednesday at the start of convention was a vote of acclamation, reelecting President Mike Gibson to the office of District President. President Gibson ran unopposed and was installed officially during closing worship. We are grateful to God for President Gibson and his wife Kathy for their willingness to serve our district.

LCEF Report-Tyler Fewins

LCEF continues to invest in and help grow our church here in the Pacific Southwest District. Tyler Fewins reported on a number of projects and ministries LCEF has been part of these last few years, including sharing video testimonies from churches throughout our district.

Mission Moment - Partnerships - Dominic Rivkin, Mission & Ministry Executive, PSD

Pastor Rivkin reminded us that we are better together because there is power at work in us through Christ. There is power in partnership. We praise God for the partnerships that exist in the PSD.

Resolutions

Resolution 22.3.1 To Give Thanks To God For The Faithful Ministry Of The Ordained And Commissioned Ministers And The Congregations And Schools Of PSD In The Midst Of COVID-19 - approved with a 97% vote

Resolution 22.2.3 to Strengthen the Nonvoting Advisory Delegate Participation at (District) Conventions - after discussion, the resolution was tabled due to time constraints. Discussion will resume tomorrow morning and will be followed by a call to vote.
