In recent years, we have had a diocesan theme for the year, starting with Convention. Two years ago, it was “I Have Called You Friends,” as we explored friendship with Christ and one another. This past year, our theme was “The Harvest is Plentiful,” and we focused on individual and congregational evangelism. This year, we will explore new aspects of evangelism with the theme “A Table in the Wilderness.” In this “wilderness” season of so much uncertainty in our world and in the Church, how is God gathering and feeding us (and our neighbors) in new and unexpected ways? Our guest preacher and workshop leader will be the Reverend Canon Dr. Meaghan Keegan, who will share with us the experiences of the Diocese of Albany in reaching out creatively to their neighbors. 



As always, Convention will include lively worship, inspiring and useful workshops, great food, fun and friendship at our holy ground, St. Crispin’s.

Convention Guest Speaker

Meaghan follows Jesus through a spirituality rooted in the ancient church and the wisdom of monastic leaders like St. Benedict. Far from being "old-fashioned," her walk is a modern pursuit of staying centered on Christ through intentional prayer practices and a Rule of Life—a sacred rhythm that grounds her daily life. She finds great joy in building community, facilitating groups, and helping others deepen their walk with Christ. Meaghan currently serves as the Canon to the Ordinary for Spiritual Development for the Diocese of Albany, which includes serving as Executive Director of Christ the King Center. She oversees the new diocesan school of formation and has started implementing the resources of the Iona Collaborative. She is a diocesan deputy to General Convention and was recently invited to serve on the Joint Standing Committee on Planning and Arrangements for the next convention in 2027. In addition, she is the pastor of two village parishes: St. Paul’s in Greenwich and St. Mark’s in Hoosick Falls.

Programming

As always, we're excited to offer several spiritually enriching and educational workshop sessions. Last year, we enjoyed introducing Sabbath time activities, and we're happy to continue that this year. Below, you'll find the options for our workshop sessions this year.

Lay Delegates List

Each Mission or Parish is entitled to a certain number of lay delegate representation each year at Diocesan Convention. These numbers are determined by our Diocesan Canon 2.2.1. The Canons of the Diocese of Oklahoma state: 2.2.1. The Lay Delegates. (a) Each Parish is entitled to two Lay Delegates and an additional Lay Delegate for every 100 Communicants or major fraction thereof after the first 100.

No Parish is entitled to more than ten Lay Delegates. Each Mission is entitled to one Lay Delegate and an additional Lay Delegate for every 50 Communicants or a major fraction thereof after the first 50. No Mission is entitled to more than three Lay Delegates. The numeration of Communicants is based on the Annual Parochial Reports of the Parishes and Missions for the preceding year.
