Convicted Election Tamperer Tina Peters Huddles With Trump on “Plans” to Rig the Midterms
WASHINGTON, DC – Donald Trump met in the Oval Office with convicted election tamperer Tina Peters to discuss “the plans” for the midterms, according to former Justice Department official Ed Martin. Peters, found guilty on seven counts for the breach of her county’s voting equipment, walked out of prison this year after Trump and his allies helped secure her clemency. She is part of a circle of election deniers pushing Trump to seize control of the midterms, including some floating martial law around Election Day.
The meeting comes as Trump’s election schemes keep collapsing. The Supreme Court rejected his attempt to restrict voting by mail, Senate Republicans refused to pass his SAVE America Act, and months of administration digging, including the seizure of Georgia election records, have failed to turn up the large-scale fraud he keeps alleging. Trump is now taking advice from a fellow convicted felon on how to rig an election he knows he’s likely to lose.
“Donald Trump is losing in the courts, losing in Congress, and running out of time, so he’s sitting down with a convicted election tamperer to plot his next move. Tina Peters helped breach her county’s voting equipment to chase Trump’s lies about 2020, and now she gets invited to the Oval Office to talk ‘plans’ for November. Trump and his MAGA allies can meet with every convicted felon they want. Americans are already casting their ballots, and those ballots will decide this election, not Trump’s kooks, cranks, and conspiracy theorists,” said Mally Smith, Try And Stop Us Senior Adviser.
