Tomorrow: IRA Webinar with Cook County on Completing PPP Applications and Troubleshooting
Join the IRA, Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle, the Illinois Business Immigration Coalition (IBIC), and National Partnership for New Americans (NPNA) tomorrow, Wednesday, April 8 at 9:30 a.m. (Central) for a webinar on how the Paycheck Protection Program impacts small businesses in Cook County.

Attendees will learn about the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) - the small business and nonprofit relief in Phase 3 of the CARES Act passed by Congress in March. Topics will include:

  • Paycheck Protection Program updates
  • Who qualifies for federal loans under the Program
  • How to apply for a PPP loan & what documents you need

The webinar is part of a new effort announced by President Preckwinkle last week to provide lending resources and technical assistance for suburban Cook County businesses and nonprofits that would greatly benefit from forgivable loans through the $350 billion federal Paycheck Protection Program during the COVID-19 pandemic, in partnership with IRA, IBIC, and NPNA.
